Published by Graeme on September 24, 2021 Every year, whether alone or with friends, I find myself visiting Applecross. It's a remote peninsula in Wester Ross, with views over Raasay to Skye, beautiful beaches and the feeling that life just moves a little slower here.

The Inn is open year-round food food and drinks. During the warmer months outdoor dining and 'Applecross Inn-Side Out' are available. For the colder months, there is a cosy fire in the bar/dining area. The main bar area is wheelchair accessible and children (under 16) are welcome until 9pm. Well behaved dogs are also permitted.

We are 80 miles and around a two hour drive from inverness, with the majority of the roads across the highlands single track. Don't forget when driving on single track roads, use passing places to allow faster cars to overtake.
